July 29 marked a special day in the Village of Hope: with enthusiasm and dedication, students and teachers embarked on a new school year. The joyful atmosphere reflects the success of our educational initiatives as Vision Help Foundation Philippines and shows how much the children look forward to learning.
Motivated Students, Dedicated Teachers
In our Christian school, a culture of learning joy prevails. Students are highly motivated and appreciate their education. This is no coincidence but the result of well-thought-out educational approaches:
- Each class has a dedicated teacher who teaches all subjects and provides individual support.
- Students take on more responsibility for maintaining order in their classrooms, enhancing their engagement and concentration.
- A balanced mix of learning and creative activities keeps motivation high.
These methods have led to increased participation in lessons and a heightened willingness to learn. Teachers report a noticeable improvement in the atmosphere and learning outcomes.

We adopted a new learning model aimed at maximizing each child’s potential. This model is based on current educational research and considers the specific needs of the children in the Village of Hope.

We recognize that not all children have the same starting conditions. Therefore, we developed special programs to meet each child’s needs and create genuine educational equity.
SPED Class: Special Support for Special Children
A heartfelt initiative of our foundation is the SPED Class (Special Education), which provides individualized support for children with special needs. A notable example is Jerueh, who has been in our care since he was three months old. Despite developmental delays in speech, motor skills, and cognition, he has made remarkable progress thanks to targeted support.
The SPED Class offers:
- Specially trained teachers who cater to each child’s unique needs
- Tailored learning materials and methods that facilitate learning
- Therapy options for holistic development, including speech, occupational, and psychological support
The success of the SPED Class is evident not only in the children’s progress but also in their growing independence and self-confidence.
Tutoring and Additional Support
For children struggling in certain subjects, our school targeted tutoring programs to supplement regular lessons and close learning gaps. These take place in small groups or one-on-one sessions to meet each child’s individual needs.
Additionally, gifted education programs are provided to identify and nurture talents. These include:
- Additional challenges in math and science
- Creative workshops in art and music
- Language courses to promote multilingual skills
Through these diverse offerings, we ensure that every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential.
Technology in Education
Recognizing the importance of digital skills in the modern world, the children’s aid organization invests in the technological infrastructure of its school to best prepare students for future challenges.
Computer Lab: Gateway to the Digital World
Thanks to generous donations, a computer lab with 15 laptops has been set up, allowing students to:
- Access digital learning resources and online educational platforms
- Gain basic computer literacy, including word processing and spreadsheets
- Get introduced to programming and digital media design
- Prepare for the digital job market through hands-on projects
We would like to acquire 10 more laptops to provide optimal learning conditions for all students. This will further integrate technology into daily lessons and enhance digital education.
Future Plans: Solar Energy for Sustainable Education
An ambitious upcoming project is the installation of a solar panel system on the school roof. This initiative aims to reduce operating costs while serving as a practical teaching tool for environmental education. We are seeking €50,000 for this investment in children’s futures and school sustainability.
Challenges and Future Goals for Vision Help Foundation
Despite significant progress, our foundation faces ongoing challenges to provide the best possible education for all children. We are continuously working to expand and improve its offerings.
